Basic information

This catalyst has nickel as its active component and is loaded onto an alumina or magnesium oxide carrier, presenting a columnar or ring-shaped solid form. The high specific surface area provides abundant active sites, with excellent heat resistance (able to withstand 750-1500℃ for a long time), high mechanical strength, excellent anti-coking and anti-poisoning properties. It exhibits strong catalytic activity at 500-850℃, high ammonia decomposition rate, good chemical stability, and a long service life.

Application

1: As a core catalytic material, it can efficiently decompose ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen under high-temperature conditions, resulting in high-purity hydrogen that meets the large-scale hydrogen demand of industries such as chemical and metallurgy.

2: Provide a clean hydrogen source for fuel cells. The catalytic reaction by-products are only nitrogen, without any impurity pollution. It can be used in conjunction with hydrogen supply devices for both vehicle-mounted and fixed-type fuel cells.

3: Decompose ammonia to generate hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas, which is used as the protective gas for metal heat treatment and welding to prevent the metal from oxidizing at high temperatures and improve the processing quality of the workpiece.

4: It provides high-purity hydrogen sources for chemical processes such as ammonia and methanol synthesis. The catalytic efficiency is stable, which can reduce raw material consumption and enhance the production efficiency of chemical products.
